Existing tools on the market simply weren’t up to the task of efficiently clearing cattails and other weeds. After struggling with subpar equipment, we decided to take matters into our own hands. The result? The PondPal Cattail Cutter.
We designed it with a durable, stainless steel serrated blade and a versatile handle that can be used by hand or attached to a pole for those hard-to-reach areas. It worked so well for us, we knew we had to share it with others. Beyond cattails, the PondPal is also great for taking weed samples, pulling branches, trimming aquatic plants, and so much more! Simply attach it to a standard painter’s pole (we recommend a rigid 5′ metal pole for best results, available at your local hardware store), a telescoping handle, or even a wooden pole with a screw-on top.
