Sediment Removal

Sediment buildup can be very detrimental to your lake or ponds ecosystem. We offer both mechanical and suction dredge methods of sediment removal. Mechanical dredging usually requires the water level to be lowered before the sediment is excavated and removed. Diver- assisted suction dredging does not require lowering or draining the water and is much more
thorough and precise compared to drag lines or cranes.

Benifits of Sediment removal?

If proactive management methods fail to restore a waterbody, dredging becomes the next viable option. This involves removing nutrient-rich sediments and increasing the depth of the waterbody. The good news is that there are multiple dredging options that can be tailored to different waterbody types, budget constraints, and environmental regulations. Hydraulic dredging and mechanical dredging are two effective methods for rejuvenating lakes and ponds. Although dredging can be expensive, the investment is worthwhile as it can restore your waterbody and provide many years of enjoyment.
