Anaconda Boom®

Hand made in our own workshop!

Our booms have floats crafted from EVA Foam which is a product that is practically indestructible, has high buoyancy, and is resistant to UV rays and mildew. Nets are manufactured with a high-density polyethylene to provide both convenience, strength, and respect for the environment. The net is also resistant to harsh UV rays and mildew. The final component of the boom is a high quality weighted rope.

The booms are as simple as a product can be.  They are lightweight, compact, durable, simple to attach to each other, and easy to repair. In big ponds or lakes, we have attached up to seven booms together which is 700 feet.  We have been able to drag the load next to the shore through pulling the booms by hand. When there is a lot of material on the surface we recommend doing partial passes and then the detail work at the end circling the entire pond.

DURABLE

Put Anaconda Booms to work for years to come. Anaconda Booms are resistant to UV rays and mildew.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY

Anaconda Booms are the safest, most eco friendly way to clean up waterways, lakes, and ponds.

COMPACT & LIGHTWEIGHT

Anaconda Booms are lightweight and easy to handle even when connected together as multiple units.

ABOUT:

After deliberating for years as to whether or not selling our booms to the public, we decided to go for it. We had received many inquiries about the booms from all over the world, and an encouraging voicemail from a man on the east coast urging us to share our invention with the world. Although I lost that message I would like to extend my gratitude and thanks to this man for sharing his kind words and giving us the push we needed to further our business endeavors. We are proud of pioneering this method of harvesting free-floating aquatic weeds as it is now becoming the norm here in the US and other parts of the world.

Harvesting the weeds versus using only herbicides is beneficial because when you kill the weeds they will sink and produce nutrients that will be recycled time and time again by algae or some other aquatic weed. All of that nutrients will eventually have to be removed for the health and vitality of the body of water.

Generally speaking, the booms remove 99.9% of material when there is minimal vegetation around the edges of the body of water such as; cattails, branches, and blackberries. For the remainder of vegetation, you can use a small amount of herbicide only around the edge making this method friendly to the environment and your budget.
